Terms of sale
These terms explain how buying from Pool + Wellness works. Please read them before you place an order. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are
Pool + Wellness (Marc McMullan, trading as Pool + Wellness)
Broughshane, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland
Phone 07845 263 917 · Email marc@poolandwellness.com
We reply the same or the next working day.
We are a sole trader and are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to products ordered through our shop and to our pool servicing (monthly contracts and one-off services). Pool, spa and wellness design and build projects are covered by their own written contract, which takes priority over these terms.
3. Prices and quotes
- Prices on our website are guide prices. Our shop works by enquiry: you send us your list, and we reply with a written quote confirming the price, the delivery charge, the lead time and any other costs.
- Product details and images come from the manufacturers. Images are for illustration, and we will confirm the exact specification in your quote.
- A quote is valid for the period stated on it. Manufacturer prices can change, so we will re-confirm the price if you order after that period.
- If we make an obvious pricing error, we will tell you before your order is confirmed, and you can choose whether to go ahead.
4. Your order and our contract
- You are buying from Pool + Wellness. We are the seller and are responsible to you for the goods, even when they are supplied or delivered direct by a manufacturer, distributor or carrier.
- A contract is formed when you accept our quote and we confirm your order in writing (for example by email or with an invoice).
- If we can’t supply an item after all, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid for it.
- Please check that products are suitable for your pool, spa or building. We are happy to advise, and recommendations we make in writing are part of the contract.
5. Payment
- Payment terms are shown on your quote or invoice. Specially ordered and made-to-measure items may need payment, or a deposit, before we place the order with the supplier.
- Goods remain ours until they have been paid for in full.
6. Delivery
See our delivery information. The goods are your responsibility once they have been delivered.
7. Cancelling and returning products
See returns and refunds for your 14-day right to cancel, the items that can’t be returned, and what happens if goods are faulty.
8. Pool servicing
- Monthly contract: 12 visits, one a month, at the monthly price we confirm in writing. One-off service: a single visit at the price we confirm.
- Prices shown by our online calculator are estimates. We confirm the price after a first look at your pool and plant room.
- Chemicals are charged as used. Repairs and replacement parts are quoted to you and only carried out with your agreement.
- Please give us safe access to the pool, plant room and equipment at the agreed time.
- We don’t carry out electrical testing. Anything electrical we notice is reported to you so you can call a qualified electrician.
- Your right to cancel: as a private customer you can cancel a servicing contract within 14 days of agreeing it. If you ask us to start within those 14 days, you pay for any visits already carried out.
- A monthly contract runs for 12 months from the first visit. If your circumstances change, talk to us and we will agree a fair way to end it early.
9. Our responsibility to you
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
- We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a consumer.
- If you buy for a business, we are not responsible for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to the price of the order.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, please contact Marc directly by phone or email. We will acknowledge your complaint within two working days and aim to resolve it as quickly as we can.
11. Your information
We use the details you give us only to deal with your enquiry and order. See our privacy notice.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland can deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the Republic of Ireland, you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when your order is confirmed.
