Privacy notice

We value our clients’ privacy. This notice explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Last updated 22 October 2026.

In short: we only use your details to answer your enquiry, supply what you order and look after your pool. We don’t sell your details or add you to mailing lists. We never publish photographs of a client’s home or pool without permission.

What we collect

  • The details you give us through our forms, by email or by phone: your name, email address, phone number, postal and delivery addresses, and, if you buy for a business, your company name and VAT number.
  • Details about your project, pool or spa, and anything else you choose to tell us.
  • Order, invoice and payment records, and service visit records (water readings, work done and findings).
  • Basic website usage information collected by our website platform, such as pages visited and the type of device used.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and send you quotes, guides and documents you ask for (to take steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
  • To supply products, arrange delivery and carry out servicing (to perform our contract with you).
  • To keep accounts and records the law requires (legal obligation).
  • To follow up about the enquiry or project you contacted us about (legitimate interests). We don’t send marketing newsletters.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to provide our service:

  • Squarespace, which hosts our website and receives our form submissions.
  • Google, which provides our email and file storage (Google Workspace).
  • Manufacturers, distributors and carriers, who need your name, delivery address and phone number to deliver your order.
  • Our accountant, and authorities such as HMRC where the law requires.

Our servicing price calculator sends the postcode or Eircode you type to postcodes.io, a free postcode lookup service, to work out the distance. We don’t store it unless you go on to send us an enquiry.

Some of these providers store information outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards such as approved contract terms.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to an order: up to two years, then deleted.
  • Customer, order and invoice records: six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as the law requires.
  • Servicing records: for as long as we look after your pool, and up to six years afterwards.

Cookies and your browser

Our website platform uses cookies that are needed for the site to work, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. The shop’s enquiry list is saved in your own browser, not on our systems, until you send it to us.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Contact us by email or phone and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Photographs

Clients are private people. We never publish photographs of a client’s home or pool unless the client has given us permission.
